Points of interest:
This star has at least one planet, discovered some time in late 1995 or early 1996.  The planet has at least 2.4 times the mass of Jupiter and follows an almost-circular path around the star at a distance of 315 million kilometers (2.1 AU) with an orbital period of 1082 days (2.98 years).  Assuming it was as reflective as Jupiter is, this planet would have an effective temperature of about 180 K (-135 degrees Fahrenheit).
The star itself has a rotation period of 16 days.
